Understanding the Halal Standard:
From Product Registration to Approval
Any manufacturing company wishing to produce and distribute Halal Pharmaceuticals in Malaysia must refer to and comply with the requirements described in the Malaysian Standard on Halal Pharmaceutical, MS 2424:2019, the national halal standard governing pharmaceutical products.
The standards prescribed by the Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) GMP Guidelines and its Annexes are integral to the application of MS 2424.
